PRINT

Print work can sometimes be a nice change from web design and the fact you can hold the finished piece in your hands is somewhat more rewarding when complete. Heres a small selection of my most recent print work.

FALLEN RIDERS MEMORIAL

As you may have guessed by now I am a bit of a motorcycle nut. Over the past 15 years or so that I have been following road racing, there have been far too many deaths from my heroes. This is a small tribute I created to remember some of the fallen riders.

THE LOFT BAR AND GRILL LEAFLETS

Working for FF Hospitality means creating a lot of leaflets. Usually A6 and in the region of 2,500 > 5,000 get printed each time.

RENEWABLE ENERGY 4 PAGE BROCHURE

While working for Tech 1, the great opportunity arose for us to create a four page brochure for a renewable energy company. The brochure was finished to a very high standard and 10,000 of them were printed! I feel this is some of my best print work to date.

STEM SYSTEMS BUSINESS CARDS

Also at Tech 1, we had quite a close working relationship with Stephen at Stem Systems. It started off with new business cards (shown here) and progressed onto his brand new website, found here: www.stem-systems.com.

MEEGAN BUSINESS CARDS

Again, while working for Tech 1, I created many business cards, these Meegan Insulations ones are one of my favourite. Nothing overly special about them but their logo works so well as a background image.

ROBERT DUNLOP TRIBUTE

As a huge motorcycling fan, when I heard the news of the late Robert Dunlop tragically dying at the North West 200 practice I was devastated. Robert and his late brother Joey had always been in my life from I was two or three years old with my Gran and Grandad always showing me pictures of them both.

As a designer, the very least I felt I could do for Robert was this small tribute displaying everything that Robert was.

ROBERT AND JOEY DUNLOP TRIBUTE

Following on from the Robert tribute, it gave me the idea of doing one for the two brothers. Joey's colours were always black and yellow and, when he could, rode number 3. Robert on the other hand always rode with black and white and the famour number 4.

I chose the line "two brothers, one love" because motorcycling wasn't just a job for Robert and Joey, it was a passion, a love.
